Located in General Paz neighbourhood, and with an area over 9.500 square meters, this branch changes its “look” and is boosted with the arrival of 20 new shops that are added to the 34 that were already part of the arcade. “This remodelling is an innovative bet Libertad makes in a neighbourhood that during the recent years has shown an important demographic growth and has become a development centre of the city. It is a change our customers have requested from us and that represents a proposal with a modern design, a better distribution, and the arrival of new shops to provide more and better services to the more than 45.000 customers we receive monthly” states Laurent Maurice Cadillat, Libertad General Director.

What does the renovation consist in?

This development allowed the reformation of the check-out line of the hypermarket where now there are 7 new shops with an orientation to provide the customers with services that are complementary to the shopping they do at the hypermarket. Additionally, the adaptation of a part of the arcade was made where now there are 13 new shops and original and high-level brands, with an approach oriented towards the woman’s universe and adolescents. The emblematic branch opened up for the first time in 1994, to later become, in 1999, one of the most important branches of Libertad brand, that currently has 15 Hypermarkets and Shopping Arcades, plus a Mini Libertad which was opened this year.
